This is a virtual tour of Fort William in 1745, built by Silas Gill for a Masters Dissertation in collaboration with the University of St Andrews, OpenVirtualWorlds and the West Highlands Museum’s 100 project. The project was supervised by Dr Alan Miller

The Model of Fort William was built by Sarah Kennedy and the sketches of people by Dr Perin Westerhof Nyman. All exhibits are part of the West Highlands Museums digital collection and recordings provided by the Lochaber Historical Society. The model was built in Unreal Engine and the panoramic screenshots were taken using the Panoramic Screenshot Plugin for UE5. The tour itself was built in Kuula and popups presented with Universal Viewer.
